The Value Of Human Potential

I've worked my whole life, but the only work that I've done that's made any real, any lasting, any meaningful contribution, is the work I haven't been paid for. Much of the work I've done in the past, which I have been paid for, has been unnecessary and wasteful use of our human resources, because we just don't value or respect our human resources as highly as we should. A shared base income will be a start to ensuring that we do start to value all of us, and that the work we do is meaningful and chosen by each of us, not dictated by others through the mechanics of a flawed system.
