Security For Ourselves, As We Are

These TV programmes suggest people don't think at all.

"Be loyal, kind and generous to friends and family…" But how does that work with people trying to be themselves? And how does that fit with friendships that turn foul? With relationships and family that split? That is a naïve outlook if every there was one.

First of all we must look after ourselves, and reject harm to ourselves, then we can do whatever we can for others... But without safety and security for ourselves, as we are, we are compromised.

I need to find security for myself to be myself.
